Dynamic Range is the ratio of the brightest portion of the image to the darkest. The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function has been developed to provide clear images where there are both bright and dark areas simultaneously in view. WDR captures and displays the two zones in the same frame so that detail is defined in both, enabling enhanced diagnosis accuracy.

Speckle noise is a granular noise that increases the mean grey level of a local area. Reduction of this is vital for accurate image interpretation.Speckle Reduction Filter™ (SRF™) improves image quality by reducing or eliminating the unnecessary echoes from ultrasound images. Flexibility is enhanced by the ability of the user to select the degree to which the reduction is implemented, enabling greater control of the process.
